Ingredients
  

  • - 2 cups fresh strawberries chopped
  • - ½ cup granulated sugar
  • - ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Add strawberries, sugar, and water to a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes until berries are soft and mixture is slightly thick.
  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing to extract the juice.
  • Let cool to room temperature, then store in the fridge.

Notes

- Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Freeze for up to 3 months. Stir well after thawing.
