How to Make An Americano in Paris

  • Pour a splash of Pastis into a rocks glass, swirling it around to coat the interior. Pour out any excess.
  • In a mixing glass, combine 1 ounce of Campari and 1 ounce of sweet vermouth. Add ice and stir for about 30 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice. Top with Champagne or club soda.
  • Cut the orange peel into a heart shape and place it on top of the drink.
