For the Filling

  • 1 cup Whipped Topping regular (not light)
  • 1 cup Eggnog chilled
  • 1 package Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix instant, not cook-and-serve
  • 1 dash Nutmeg freshly grated preferred

For the Crust

  • 1 prepared Pie Crust store-bought or homemade

Preparation

  • Combine the chilled eggnog and vanilla instant pudding mix in a medium bowl. Whisk vigorously for about 2 minutes until thickened to a soft-serve consistency.
  • Fold in the freshly grated nutmeg, then add the thawed whipped topping, using an under-and-over motion until just mixed.
  • Spoon the eggnog mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread it evenly.
  • Cover the pie loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

Dust with a sprinkle of nutmeg just before serving for extra festive flair. Serve cold and do not let it sit out at room temperature for more than an hour.
