Directions

  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
  • Clean and dry the apples, removing their stems and inserting wooden sticks.
  • Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and food coloring in a saucepan; stir to blend.
  • Heat the mixture to a boil without stirring until it reaches 285°F.
  • Dip each apple into the hot syrup, rotating to fully coat, then allow excess to drip.
  • Place apples on the prepared baking sheet and let rest for about 15 minutes.

Notes
