  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed 🍌
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 🍫

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare Pan: Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas with the melted butter until well combined.
  • Add Sugar and Egg: Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
  • Pour into Pan: Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  • Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool: Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
