Ingredients
  

  • - 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • - 1 cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • - 1 tsp baking soda
  • - ½ tsp baking powder
  • - 1 tsp salt
  • - 2 cups semisweet or dark chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
  • Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, powder, and salt.
  • Mix dry ingredients into wet until combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Chill dough 30–60 minutes.
  • Scoop onto baking sheets and bake 10–12 mins.
  • Cool on rack and enjoy!

Notes

Chilling the dough enhances texture and flavor. For chunkier cookies, add extra chocolate or chopped nuts.
