Ingredients
  

  • - 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • - 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • - 1 cup brown sugar
  • - ½ cup granulated sugar
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • - ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • - 1 tsp baking soda
  • - ½ tsp salt
  • - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • - Optional: flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.
  • Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto baking sheet.
  • Bake for 9–11 minutes. Don’t overbake.
  • Cool 5 minutes on pan, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

- Use no-stir peanut butter for best texture
- Chill dough for thicker cookies
- Great for freezing dough or baked cookies
