Ingredients
  

  • - 8 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate finely chopped
  • - ½ cup heavy cream
  • - ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • - 8 oz chocolate for coating optional
  • - Assorted holiday sprinkles
  • - Icing for decoration optional

Instructions
 

  • Warm the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering (do not boil).
  • Pour over chopped chocolate and vanilla; stir until smooth.
  • Chill mixture for 2 hours.
  • Scoop and roll into balls.
  • Decorate with sprinkles, icing, or melted chocolate.
  • Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

- Use only high-quality baking chocolate
- Avoid chocolate chips
- Chill longer if mixture is too soft to roll
