Main Steps

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, sea salt, and rolled oats.
  • Gently chop the walnuts into 1/4-inch pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in the peanut butter until fully combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition and then mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  • Fold in the walnuts, dark chocolate chips, raisins, and coconut.
  • Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers appear slightly underbaked.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
