  • - **For a Pitcher 8 Servings:**
  • - 3 cups silver tequila
  • - 2 cups orange liqueur
  • - 1.5 cups fresh lime juice
  • - Optional: 1/4–1/2 cup agave nectar or simple syrup to taste
  • - Ice
  • - Lime slices and salt for rimming glasses

Instructions
 

  • ### For a Single Margarita:
  • Run a lime wedge around the glass rim and dip into coarse salt.
  • In a shaker, combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and sweetener (if using).
  • Add ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
  • Fill the rimmed glass with ice.
  • Strain the margarita into the glass.
  • Garnish with a lime slice and enjoy!
  • ### For a Pitcher:
  • In a large pitcher, mix tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and sweetener (if using).
  • Refrigerate (without ice) until ready to serve.
  • Rim serving glasses with salt, fill with ice, and pour margarita mix.
  • Garnish and serve.

Notes

- Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the best flavor.
- Customize sweetness with agave or simple syrup.
- For a smoky twist, sub in mezcal for half the tequila.
- Tajín is a great salt rim alternative.
