For the Pasta

For the Sauce Enhancement

Instructions
 

  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour in the heavy cream and low-sodium chicken broth to create a rich base for your sauce.
  • Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, onion powder, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix gently to ensure the chicken is well coated.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to high for approximately 2 hours, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker. Shred the chicken with forks and set aside.
  • Place fettuccine and unsalted butter into the slow cooker. Cook uncovered for 20-40 minutes, checking until the pasta is al dente.
  • Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker, adding the finely grated Parmesan cheese. Toss everything together and cook uncovered for another 5-8 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning, then garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
