Ingredients
  

For the Salad

  • 2 cups Medium Shell Pasta or rotini, bow ties, or penne
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 cup Ranch Dressing homemade or store-bought
  • 6 slices Bacon or turkey bacon for a lighter option
  • 2 cups Lettuce romaine or iceberg added just before serving
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese or mozzarella

For Extra Color & Nutrition

  • 1 cup Bell Peppers chopped
  • 1 cup Cucumbers chopped
  • 1 cup Peas fresh or frozen

Preparation

  • Boil the Pasta: Fill a large pot with water and bring to a rolling boil. Add medium shell pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Drain and Cool: Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse under cold water until fully cooled.
  • Prep the Veggies: Shred lettuce and halve cherry tomatoes while the pasta cools.
  • Combine with Dressing: In a large bowl, mix cooled pasta with ranch dressing until well coated.
  • Add Main Ingredients: Fold in cooked chicken, lettuce, halved tomatoes, grated cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon.
  • Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes
