  • 0.5 head Red Cabbage thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch Cilantro chopped, substitute with parsley if preferred
  • 2 medium Carrots peeled and shredded

For the Dressing

  • 0.25 cup Rice Vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or agave/maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper adjust to taste

How to Make Red Cabbage Slaw

  • In a large mixing bowl, toss together the thinly sliced red cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped cilantro.
  • Add rice vinegar, granulated sugar, honey, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix it all together.
  • Gently toss all ingredients until well combined.
  • Cover the mixture and place it in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  • Before serving, give the slaw a good stir to evenly distribute the dressing.
