  • 4 stalks Crisp Celery Choose firm, bright green stalks.
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Opt for ripe varieties.
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Parsley Flat-leaf parsley preferred.
  • 1/4 medium Red Onion Thinly sliced.

For the Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra virgin for best results.

Optional Crunch

  • 1/4 cup Slivered Almonds Optional for extra crunch.

How to Make Celery Salad

  • Wash the crisp celery stalks under cool water. Slice them into thin crescents, halve the cherry tomatoes, and dice the red onion.
  • Finely chop a handful of fresh parsley and sprinkle it over the veggie mix.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, then whisk together.
  • In a large salad bowl, toss together the chopped veggies and the dressing until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle slivered almonds on top before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed cold. Customize with proteins or additional nuts as desired.
