  • 3 large Eggs Refer to cake mix package for correct quantity.
  • 1 cup Water Milk can be used for richer flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Oil Consider using melted butter for a richer taste.

For the Cherry Swirl

  • 1 can Cherry Pie Filling Fresh or frozen cherries can be alternatives.

For the Optional Glaze

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Combine with milk until smooth.
  • 2 tablespoons Milk Vanilla-flavored milk can enhance sweetness.

How to Make Cherry Swirl Cake

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil. Blend until smooth for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Gently swirl in the cherry pie filling without overmixing for a marbled effect.
  • Pour batter into a greased cake pan and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before glazing.
  • Mix powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth and drizzle over the cooled cake.
