Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1 package Puff Pastry/Shortcrust Pastry Store-bought saves time.

Filling

  • 200 grams Turkey Bacon Always brown before adding.
  • 4 large Eggs Key binding agent.
  • 1 cup Fresh Cream Provides rich creaminess.
  • 150 grams Gruyère Cheese Can swap with Swiss or cheddar.
  • 50 grams Parmesan Cheese Enhances flavor depth.
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper Essential seasoning.

Preparation

  • Roll out your choice of puff or shortcrust pastry and fit it into a tart pan. Poke holes in the bottom.
  • Blind bake the crust in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes.
  • In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until browned and crispy.
  • Whisk together eggs, fresh cream, grated Gruyère, and Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread the crispy turkey bacon over the pre-baked crust and pour the egg mixture over it.
  • Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and lightly browned.
  • Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serve warm or at room temperature.
