How to Make Milk Tea

  • In a saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of water and 1-2 teaspoons of tea powder. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes to extract the flavors.
  • Pour in about 1 cup of milk and add sugar to taste. Stir to mix everything together.
  • Allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for another 2-3 minutes. Add crushed cardamom if desired.
  • Carefully strain the tea into cups or mugs to separate the leaves and spices.

Notes

Serve with biscuits or cookies for a delightful treat. Adjust the sweetener and spices to personal taste.
