  • 1 cup vanilla cottage cheese or plain cottage cheese with vanilla extract and honey
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup/agave nectar for a vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract use pure for best results
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional, but recommended for flavor

For the Topping

  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce Ghirardelli sea salt caramel recommended
  • 1/4 cup walnuts toasted and chopped, or substitute with pecans
  • 2 tablespoons toffee bits can use chocolate chips as an alternative

For Dipping

  • 2 large apples any crisp variety like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp

Preparation

  • Toast walnuts in a dry skillet for 3-4 minutes until fragrant. Chop into small pieces. Slice apples into thin wedges just before serving.
  • In a food processor, combine the vanilla cottage cheese, honey, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle toasted walnuts and toffee bits on top.
  • Serve the dip alongside apple wedges for dipping and enjoy!

Notes
