  • Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla; mix until smooth.
  • Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Divide the batter between two bowls; mix one with cocoa and chocolate chunks, and the other with mashed banana.
  • Spread the chocolate batter in the prepared pan, then layer the banana batter on top.
  • Swirl using a knife between batters without overmixing.
