  • 4 fillets Salmon skin-on for added moisture

For the Herb Butter

  • 3 Tbsp Ghee or Clarified Butter; substitute with olive oil if dairy-free
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Dill use less if substituting with dried dill
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley consider substituting with basil or cilantro
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced; jarred versions work in a pinch
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon zested and juiced; lime can be used as a variation
  • to taste Salt essential for enhancing flavor
  • to taste White Pepper essential for enhancing flavor

Preparation

  • Finely chop the garlic, dill, and parsley. Combine these with ghee, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and white pepper in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30-45 seconds until melted and fragrant.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for perfect baking conditions.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Generously brush the herb-butter mixture over each fillet.
  • Bake the salmon for 10-12 minutes, until opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F for perfectly cooked salmon.

Serving

  • Serve with a sprinkle of fresh herbs for a vibrant touch.
