  • 2 medium fresh apples thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon for flavor

Preparation Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  • Thinly slice 2 fresh apples to about ⅛ inch thickness and toss with 2 teaspoons of sugar and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Lay the apple slices in a single layer on a metal rack set over a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake for 2 to 3 hours, flipping halfway through, until fully dried yet slightly pliable.
  • Let them cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
