Ingredients
  

  • ### Cinnamon Sugar Swirl
  • - ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • - 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ### Bread Batter
  • - 1 large apple peeled and chopped (about 1½ cups)
  • - ⅔ cup granulated sugar
  • - ½ cup salted butter softened
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • - 1½ tsp baking powder
  • - Pinch of sea salt
  • - ½ cup milk any kind

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5 loaf pan.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until crumbly. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  • Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Add milk and mix until batter is smooth.
  • Pour half of the batter into the pan. Top with half the chopped apples and cinnamon-sugar mix.
  • Repeat with remaining batter, apples, and cinnamon-sugar.
  • Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

- Substitute almond milk for dairy-free version
- Freeze slices individually for grab-and-go breakfasts
