For the Espresso

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon optional
  • 2 shots double shot of espresso

For the Milk Base

  • 1 cup milk your favorite type

For Shaking & Serving

  • 1 cup ice
  • 6 cubes ice cubes

  • Combine brown sugar and cinnamon (if using) in an espresso shot glass. Brew a double shot of espresso right over the mixture. Stir gently to dissolve the sugar completely, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice and pour your choice of milk over the ice, creating a lovely base for your espresso.
  • Add at least 6 ice cubes to a cocktail shaker and pour the brown sugar espresso over the top. Cover tightly, then shake vigorously until frothy and combined—about 15 seconds will do.
  • Pour the frothy espresso over the milk-filled glass, allowing the layers to mix slightly. Stir gently for a perfect blend of coffee, sweetness, and creaminess.

Notes

For an optional garnish, sprinkle extra cinnamon on top before serving.
