  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Incorporate the granulated sugar into the creamy mixture, blending until grainy and lighter in color, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Gradually add the all-purpose flour while mixing on low speed until just combined.
  • Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 45 minutes to 2 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Once chilled, roll the dough into 1-inch balls, press your thumb into each ball to create a well, and fill it with jam.
  • Place the cookies in the preheated oven and bake for 11-12 minutes until golden at the edges.
  • Allow the cookies to sit on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
