  • 2 large eggs For a vegan option, substitute with flax eggs (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 2.5 tablespoons water).
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract No substitutions are needed; it’s vital for the best taste!
  • cups all-purpose flour Gluten-free 1-to-1 flour blends may also be used if needed.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda Ensure it’s fresh for optimal results.
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt No substitutions necessary; it’s key to flavor enhancement.
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon You can substitute with nutmeg for a unique twist.
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg Optional, provides an additional warm flavor note. Feel free to omit if you prefer.

  • 2 tablespoons additional chopped walnuts Sprinkling this on top before baking adds extra texture and crunch.
