Equipment

  • - Baking sheet or pizza stone
  • - Rolling pin (optional)
  • Oven
  • - Knife & cutting board
  • - Spatula or pizza cutter

Ingredients

  • #### For the Pizza Base:
  • - 2 balls store-bought or homemade pizza dough
  • - 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • - 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • #### For the Eyeball Toppings:
  • - 12–16 slices pepperoni
  • - 6–8 green olives stuffed with pimentos halved
  • - ½ cup black olives sliced (for “pupils”)
  • - 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced into strips
  • #### Optional Toppings:
  • - Sliced mushrooms
  • - Diced onions
  • - Extra cheese Parmesan or cheddar

Instructions

  • **Preheat oven** to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside to preheat.
  • **Shape the dough** into two medium-sized circles. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet or the stone.
  • **Spread sauce** evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • **Sprinkle mozzarella** generously on top of the sauce.
  • **Create the eyeballs**:
  • - Place pepperoni slices around the pizza.
  • - Top each with half a green olive (cut side up).
  • - Add a black olive slice in the center for the “pupil.”
  • **Arrange the red pepper strips** like veins radiating from the eyeballs.
  • **Bake** for 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  • **Cool slightly**, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

- Pat olives dry to avoid soggy toppings.
- Let kids help with decorating — it’s half the fun!
- Use pre-made crust to save even more time.
