Espresso Base

  • 2 shots double shot of espresso freshly brewed
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar adjust for sweetness
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon optional

Milk Layer

  • 1 cup milk use dairy or non-dairy

For the Chill

  • 6 cubes ice more for frothiness

Preparation

  • Add brown sugar and cinnamon (if using) to an espresso shot glass. Then, brew your double shot of espresso directly over this mixture. Stir well until the sugar fully dissolves, creating a sweet espresso base.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice and gently pour your milk over the top.
  • Add at least six ice cubes to a cocktail shaker. Pour the brown sugar espresso over the ice in the shaker, cover it tightly, and shake vigorously until frosty and well mixed—this should take about 15 seconds!
  • Carefully pour the frothy espresso mixture over the milk in your prepared glass. Stir gently to blend the flavors, and enjoy your invigorating drink!
