Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, onion powder, and garlic. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in cilantro and scallions for added freshness.
  • Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Carefully slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected at the back.
  • On the bottom half of each roll, layer the shredded cheese, ranch dressing, and the buffalo chicken filling.
  • Add more cheese and pickled jalapeños before topping with the roll tops.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter and then stir in hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika.
  • Brush the buttery mixture generously over the tops of the assembled sliders.
  • Sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
  • Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes.
  • Let the sliders rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing and serving.
