Ingredients
  

  • **Brownie Base:**
  • - 1 box brownie mix 13x9 size
  • - Ingredients listed on the box
  • **Pecan Pie Filling:**
  • - 1 cup sugar
  • - 1 ½ cups light corn syrup
  • - 4 eggs
  • - ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • - 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • - 2 cups pecans chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven according to brownie mix instructions.
  • Mix brownies per box directions and pour into greased 13x9 pan.
  • Bake for half the time listed on the package.
  • Meanwhile, whisk sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter, and vanilla in a saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat for 15–20 minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in pecans and cook for 2–3 minutes more.
  • Pour filling over partially baked brownies and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 25–30 more minutes, until center is just slightly jiggly.
  • Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts. Use your favorite brownie mix or homemade recipe.
