Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 pound Ground Pork Substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs Regular breadcrumbs can be used but may not achieve the same lightness.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Finely chopped.
  • 1/2 cup Onion Shallots or green onions can offer a milder taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce Essential for depth of flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup Heinz recommended for best flavor.
  • 1 large Eggs Use room temperature.

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup Cranberry Sauce Ocean Spray suggested for consistency.
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar Can substitute with honey or maple syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed for best taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Chop your onions and parsley finely.
  • Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs in a large bowl.
  • Shape the meat mixture into 24-30 golf ball-sized meatballs.
  • Arrange the meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Prepare the sauce while the meatballs bake by combining cranberry sauce, more ketchup, brown sugar, and lemon juice.
  • Transfer the baked meatballs to the skillet with the sauce and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve warm, either as an appetizer or over rice.

Notes
