How to Make Loaded Nachos

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown your ground beef or chicken, seasoning it until fully cooked (about 7-10 minutes).
  • Dice your tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños, and shred the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
  • On a lined baking sheet, arrange half of the tortilla chips in a single layer, brushing them lightly with olive oil.
  • Top with half of the shredded cheese, black beans, and your cooked protein. Repeat with the remaining chips, cheese, beans, and protein.
  • Bake your nachos in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately add your cold toppings like sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, and green onions.
