Ingredients
  

  • For the Pizza Dough Skip if using store-bought
  • 2 ¼ tsp 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • For the White Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • For the Toppings
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup sliced dill pickles
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • ¼ cup fresh dill chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Pizza Dough (Skip if using store-bought)
  • In a small bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  • Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Step 2: Make the White Garlic Sauce
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 30 more seconds.
  • Slowly whisk in milk and cook until thickened (about 2 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  • Step 3: Assemble the Pizza
  • Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  • Brush the crust with olive oil for a golden finish.
  • Spread the garlic white sauce evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Evenly distribute the sliced dill pickles across the pizza.
  • Sprinkle dried oregano and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Step 4: Bake and Serve
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh dill.
  • Slice and serve immediately.
