For the Dough

  • 1 cup Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Brands like Bob's Red Mill yield the best results.
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder Acts as a leavening agent.
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1 cup Plain Unsweetened Greek Yogurt Substitutes for yeast.

For the Topping

  • 1 tbsp Everything But the Bagel Seasoning Can be swapped with sesame seeds.

How to Make Protein Bagels

  • In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well-blended.
  • Add the plain unsweetened Greek yogurt to the dry mixture. Stir gently until a cohesive dough forms.
  • Divide the dough into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a rope, about 6 inches long. Join the ends to form a circle.
  • Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the bagels with non-stick spray or brush them with an egg wash. Generously sprinkle Everything But the Bagel seasoning on top.
  • Place the bagels in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes. Flip them over and air fry for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Carefully remove the bagels from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftover protein bagels in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze for longer storage.
