How to Make Watermelon Sorbet

  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment and spread 5 cups of cubed watermelon evenly on it. Freeze until solid, about 3 hours.
  • Once frozen, combine watermelon, 1/3 cup sweetener, 2 tablespoons lime juice, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a food processor. Process for about 1 minute until smooth.
  • Scrape down the sides, then blend again for another 4 to 6 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  • For soft-serve, enjoy immediately. For firmer sorbet, transfer to an airtight container, press parchment over it, and freeze for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Optional: Garnish with fresh mint leaves for extra freshness.

Notes

Store leftover sorbet in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or up to 2 months in the freezer.
