Ingredients
  

  • **Cupcakes:**
  • - 1 box devil’s food cake mix
  • - 3 eggs
  • - ½ cup oil
  • - 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 1 cup milk
  • - ½ cup sour cream
  • **Chocolate Frosting:**
  • - 1 cup butter
  • - ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • - 2–3 cups powdered sugar
  • - 2 tbsp milk
  • - Pinch of salt optional
  • **Toppings:**
  • - Mini pretzels
  • - Nilla wafers
  • - Brown M&M’s or red for Rudolph
  • - White M&M’s
  • - Melted chocolate for eyes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line cupcake tins.
  • Whisk eggs, oil, vanilla, milk, and sour cream. Add cake mix and stir.
  • Fill cupcake liners ¾ full. Bake 16–20 mins. Cool completely.
  • Beat butter for frosting, add cocoa powder, sugar, and milk. Mix until fluffy.
  • Create reindeer muzzles by sticking M&M’s onto wafers. Make eyes with melted chocolate dots.
  • Frost cupcakes, place muzzle, eyes, and pretzels to form reindeer faces.

Notes

- Use a muffin tin to organize candy decorations
- Candy eyes can be store-bought
- Add antlers right before serving to keep them crisp
