How to Make Corned Beef Crock Pot

  • Chop the onion, carrots, celery, and potatoes into bite-sized pieces, and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Position the corned beef brisket on top of the vegetables. Season generously with kosher salt, black pepper, and pickling spice.
  • Carefully pour water into the slow cooker until the corned beef is nearly submerged.
  • Set your slow cooker to low heat for 7-8 hours or high heat for about 4.5 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
  • Add the wedge-cut cabbage on top of the corned beef about 45 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
  • Once cooked, transfer the corned beef to a cutting board, slice it thinly against the grain, and plate it alongside the vegetables.

Notes
