  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese Blend until smooth to avoid lumps.
  • 1 cup Self-Raising Flour Use all-purpose flour with baking powder if necessary.
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder Needed only if using all-purpose flour.
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1 large Egg (beaten) For brushing; olive oil is a substitute.

For the Toppings

  • 2 tbsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds Sprinkle generously.
  • 1 tbsp Poppy Seeds

Directions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-raising flour and a pinch of salt. If using all-purpose flour, add in the baking powder.
  • Blend cottage cheese until smooth and creamy to avoid lumps.
  • Gently fold the cottage cheese into the flour mixture until a rough dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for a few minutes, then divide into 4 equal portions.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Poke a hole in the center of each dough ball.
  • Place shaped bagels on a parchment-lined tray. Brush with beaten egg or olive oil and sprinkle toppings.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
