  • 4 oz Green Chiles drained
  • 1 tsp Salt for seasoning
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper for seasoning

How to Make Simple Crockpot Beef Chili Verde

  • Cut beef chuck into 1-2 inch cubes and pat dry. Generously season with salt and black pepper.
  • In the crockpot, layer the seasoned beef, diced onions, and minced garlic. Pour salsa verde over and add drained green chiles.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8-12 hours, ideally around 10 hours.
  • Once cooked, remove beef and shred using two forks. Discard large fat pieces and return shredded beef to the pot.
