Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese freshly shredded 🧀
  • 1 pound ground spicy breakfast sausage
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2-3 jalapeños seeded and finely diced 🌶️

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Add the ground spicy sausage, shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese, softened butter, and diced jalapeños to the dry ingredients. Using your hands, mix until all components are evenly incorporated.
  • Form Sausage Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet with space between each ball.
  • Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
