Ingredients
For the Crust
- 2 crusts Refrigerated Pie Crusts Buttery base for quick and easy treats.
- 1 cup Flour For rolling and preventing sticking.
For the Filling
- 1 cup Strawberry Jam Sweet center, can substitute with other jams.
For the Glaze
- 1 large Egg Wash For golden sheen on the crust.
- 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar For sprinkling on top.
Instructions
Baking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the refrigerated pie crusts to about ¼ inch thick.
- Cut into envelope shapes measuring roughly 4x5 inches.
- Spoon strawberry jam into the center of each envelope shape, leaving about ½ inch at the edges.
- Fold the top of each envelope over and press down to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
- Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer wrapped in plastic for up to 1 month.
