How to Make Pull-Apart Heart

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly dust your work surface with all-purpose flour. Roll out the crescent roll dough until it forms a large rectangle.
  • Generously spread ½ cup of Nutella across the rolled-out dough.
  • Use a 2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes from the dough.
  • Place the heart shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, stacking them as you go.
  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of raspberry jam, 1 tablespoon of whole milk, and a few drops of pink food coloring. Brush the glaze over the warm pastries.

Notes

Optional: Sprinkle with extra powdered sugar for a delightful touch. Allow to cool before glazing to prevent melting.
