How to Make Tasty Ground Turkey Breakfast Sausage

  • In a small bowl, mix together the sage, salt, black pepper, thyme, garlic powder, marjoram, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and onion powder until well blended.
  • In a large bowl, add the ground turkey and pour the spice mixture over it. Gently blend everything together.
  • Shape the mixture into 8 patties, each about ½ inch thick, or leave it loose for crumbled sausage.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a drizzle of oil.
  • Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • If opting for crumbles, add the loose turkey mixture directly to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Allow the sausages to rest for 2 minutes before serving.
