Boba

  • 1 cup oat milk Adds creaminess.
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup Adjust to desired sweetness.
  • 1 cup crushed ice Use fresh ice for best results.

Preparing the Drink

  • Begin by steeping the black tea bag in hot water at 180°F for about 5 minutes. Once brewed, strain it and let it cool completely in the refrigerator.
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add the boba pearls. Allow them to float for a moment, then cook for an additional 4-5 minutes. Test a pearl for the perfect chewy texture, drain, and mix the boba with maple syrup.
  • Take the frozen mango out and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then, blend it with oat milk until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • In a tall glass, layer the cooked boba pearls at the bottom, followed by crushed ice, the chilled tea, and a generous topping of mango purée. Stir gently with a straw before serving to mix the flavors beautifully.

Notes

For best results, add boba pearls only right before serving to maintain their chewy texture.
