How to Make Easy Homemade Mayonnaise

  • In a tall container, add the large egg, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, lemon juice, and fine sea salt.
  • Pour your neutral oil over the mixture and allow it to settle for about 15 seconds.
  • Insert an immersion blender into the container, touching the bottom. Blend for approximately 10 seconds until emulsified.
  • Gradually lift and tilt the immersion blender while continuing to blend to incorporate the oil fully.
  • Taste and adjust flavors with more lemon juice, salt, or sugar as needed.
  • Transfer the mayonnaise into an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator.

Notes
