  • 1 cup Sugar Granulated sugar preferred
  • 1 medium Orange Zest and juice to be used

  • Prep the Orange: Zest the orange and cut it into wedges, removing any seeds.
  • Clean Cranberries: Rinse cranberries under cold water and discard any soft or discolored ones.
  • Combine Ingredients: In a food processor, combine cleaned cranberries, orange wedges, sugar, and reserved zest.
  • Pulse and Process: Pulse the mixture until desired consistency is reached, either smooth or chunky.
  • Taste and Adjust: Adjust sweetness with additional sugar if necessary, noting flavors will mellow when chilled.
  • Refrigerate: Transfer to a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
